Gigi Minor is a loose collective of artists based in Durham, Ontario led by Geoffrey Shea and Philly Markowitz. A revolving cast of players gather on Tuesday evenings to explore songwriting and arranging, and pick up new instruments and influences.

Gigi invited four accomplished filmmakers (Philip Hoffman, Ilse Gassinger, Iriz Paabo and Myke Dyer) to make works which visually interpreted four of our many songs. Gigi Minor performed the music live with the films at the closing event of the 4th annual Fabulous Festival of Fringe Film, in a barn on a working organic farm just outside of Durham, Ontario. This two-disc set includes the four films plus seven songs.

In the music on this site you will hear Geoffrey Shea and Philly Markowitz as well as Paul Nielsen, Gillian Inksetter, Randy Martin, Robin Rich and Chris Risk.
